Refund policy

Black Friday/Cyber Monday

All Black Friday and Cyber Monday sale purchases are final, including limited or price-adjusted items. No price adjustments on previous orders.

Because this sale moves fast, inventory may not always update immediately online and you will be refunded for any unavailable items.

Please allow up to two weeks for processing and fulfillment.

Once an order is placed it cannot be changed or modified.


Sale Items

All sale purchases are final, this includes any limited or price-adjusted releases. However, some items purchased on sale can be exchanged one time for the exact same style in a different size (stock permitting). 


Online exchanges and returns

Online orders must be shipped back within 14 days of delivery.

  • Condition — Items must be unworn, unused, and in the original packaging.

  • Tags — Any hang tags that came on the garment must stay attached; removing them makes the piece ineligible.

  • Proof of purchase — Include your receipt or order confirmation.

To begin, email info@motierlafayette.com with your order number and the item you’d like to send back. Once approved, we’ll email a prepaid return label and instructions — packages without that label cannot be accepted.

For non-defective returns, we simply deduct the label cost from your refund. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.


In-store exchanges and returns

Bring your item to the shop within 14 days of purchase.

  • Same condition and tag rules apply.

  • Approved returns are issued as In-store credit only.

  • Sale pieces are final unless you need a different size in the same style and we have it available.


Damages or incorrect items

Please inspect your order upon arrival and let us know right away if it’s defective, damaged, or incorrect — we’ll make it right.


Exceptions

Exclusive releases, custom or personalised products, and gift cards cannot be returned.

  • Exclusive releases include collaboration pieces, Mardi Gras, Valentine’s Day, and Christmas designs. These items are not eligible for return or exchange.

Refunds and processing time

  • We’ll notify you once we receive and inspect your return.

  • Approved refunds go back to your original payment method.

  • Allow 5 – 7 business days for inspection plus bank or card-issuer posting time.
